Swap Diaries!

Whether you realize it or not, thredUP moms are connected. Just like a traveling gnome, our boxes travel to every part of the country from family to family. Curious where these boxes go? So are we!

To follow the journey of a thredUP box, we would like to release twenty little “Swap Diaries” for members to contribute, share and pass along with their boxes from one home to another. If you receive one of these rare and special notebooks, be sure to write a note, compose a short poem, include a sketch or do whatever you’d like to leave your mark – just keep it kid friendly since kids will be involved in the fun. We totally encourage kids to contribute!

Also, take a picture of you and/or your kids with the notebook, upload it to our thredUP Facebook page AND email it to swapdiary@thredup.com and you’ll get a surprise from thredUP!

The next time you send a box, be sure to send the diary along with it. When a complete Swap Diary returns to the thredUP office, we will post its journey for everyone to enjoy.

All 20 notebooks are starting here in San Francisco. If you would like to help us get the Swap Diaries on their way, please contact swapdiary@thredup.com and we will send you a notebook to include in your next box. We can’t wait to see where they end up!

12 Days of Sharing!

We all know the popular carol "12 Days of Christmas"! Well, we decided to change the lyrics a little bit. In the true spirit of this holiday season, thredUP will be running a special "12 Days of Sharing" gift giveaway for our Facebook fans. Each morning (from December 6-17), we will announce a new lyric to our "12 Days of Sharing" carol on our Facebook wall that involves an aspect of sharing with other members of the thredUP community. You will have the opportunity to enter to receive a special gift from us! In addition, every winner will be entered to win the grand prize gift giveaway on the final 12^th Day of Sharing!!

"12 Days of Sharing" FAQs

When will the gift giveaway run? Our 12 Days of Sharing gift giveaway will start on Tuesday, 12/6 and end on Saturday, December 17th.

How do I enter? Each morning, we will post a new lyric to our "12 Days of Sharing" carol. Simply follow the directions in the post to be entered for that day's gift giveaway. At 3 pm EST each day, we will announce the winners and the gifts they will be receiving.

What do I win? Prizes will vary! At 3 pm EST each day, we will announce the winners and the gifts they will be receiving.

Who picks the winners? Winners will be picked at random. The winner of the 12th Day of Sharing grand prize gift giveaway will be picked at random from all that have earned an entry.
